ALL ABOUT THE TRUCK

My father purchased this track in the 70's and drove it through numerous Fargo winters as his daily driver when it was all original. When it stopped being reliable as a daily driver it was stored and eventually a resto-mod was completed to make it more reliable and dress it up.

The truck was painted in the 80's with single stage Augusta Green Metallic (F-9). It has great depth of color and really pops in photos.

The body is all original, but now sits on a mid-70's El Camino chassis. There is a 283 Cu.In. Chevy small block under the hood mated to a GM 3 speed Turbo-350 transmission. The power steering and front end components come from a Plymouth Volare.

To round out the Frankenstein build I've recently added a Holley Sniper Electronic Fuel Injection (EFI) system with Hyperspark ignition.
